Executive Summary

ABOUT US:
PMHS was founded in 2018 to ensure that those who can remain in communities are able to in communities of their own choice. To ensure this we have launched an array of programs that provide both behavioral health and healthcare assistance and interventions.

Mission: Our mission is to rejuvenate minds, renew hearts and reshape the lives of our clients and our community.

Vision: We know that solutions to any problems are to be sought within individuals, their families (however they define them), and their cultures. Our vision is to assist clients through the recovery and rehabilitation process.

To Our Clients: We strive to improve the lives of people by assisting them to meet their behavioral health and overall healthcare needs. Our programs are designed to foster personal growth, accentuate positive potential, teach healthy coping skills and assist individuals who need additional care in a community-setting.

To Our Communities:
Our goal is to provide programs that enhance the strengths of each person, family, and community with whom we work. We strive to have each community see our program as an asset. We work hard to ensure that each service we provide meets an essential community need. We view individuals as our community partners who are actively interested in seeking positive community-based solutions for complex problems. We recognize that we must constantly listen to and respond to the needs of our communities and our goal is to increase the personal well-being and safety for everyone we serve.

Person Centered Philosophy:

As a CARF accredited organization a key value for all of our programs is self-determination and person-centered treatment. A daily demonstration of person-centeredness can be found in all aspects of the services provided by Peaceful Minds in our outpatient and residential programs. Peaceful Mind values the role of work in achieving rehabilitation, self-sufficiency, and community involvement. The importance of work is promoted in all aspects of our programs and services, beginning at initial intake/orientation and continues throughout each component of our person-centered planning and individual development process.

A person-centered philosophy guides all service delivery. Peaceful Minds believes in the strengths, gifts and abilities of the people we serve and our employees. Our programs and services are based on a person-centered philosophy and are developed based on the input from the individuals receiving services and other stakeholders.
